Sr. Procurement Analyst (Intra Logistics Procurement)​​

  The Sr. Procurement Analyst is responsible for all tactical/operational responsibilities from procure to pay pertaining to the designated spend categories. In addition this role will also identify opportunities to reduce Total Cost of Ownership as well as provide recommendations for process improvement and performance tracking metrics. 

Essential Functions 

 

  • Oversee Intra Logistics categories that encompasses the following spend categories: Offsite Storage Warehousing, Yard Services, Raw Material Inbound & Transfer Freight 

  • Assist with Intra Logistics categories management 

  • Identify opportunities to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) 

  • Analyze market conditions to effectively manage Intra Logistics costs and projects 

  • Manage RFP/RFQ process from creation to completion and provide supplier selection recommendations 

  • Develop and present category reports for management 

  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and performance tracking metrics 

  • Assist with Intra Logistics suppliers’ qualification and on-boarding process

  • Maximize supplier relationships with each production facility through conference calls and in-person meetings 

  • Work cross-functionally within Niagara (with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, QA, Finance and Engineering) to accomplish departmental goals and gain support internally 

  • When needed, help drive or drive vendor discussions to achieve best results for Niagara including but not limited to: New relationship formation, Existing relationship management, and Negotiation 

  • This position requires travel up to 25%

Qualifications 

  • Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 4 Years+ ​  – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment 

  • 4 Years​+  – Experience in Position 

  • 4 Years​  – Experience managing people/projects

  • Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 6 Years+​– Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment 

  • 6 Years​+ – Experience working in Position  

  • 6 Years​+  Experience managing people/projects

  • Quantitative Analysis: skillful in using quantitative analysis to understand business issues.

  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel and Power Point 

 Education 

  • Minimum Required:  Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics or other related field 

Preferred:   Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics or other related field

$100,464.14 - $145,673.02 / Yearly
