The Role
We are looking for a Principal Verification Engineer and Manager with experience in the verification of embedded MCU/DSP systems, to build and manage a new product verification team, chartered to create a series of mixed-signal compute products, and benchmark such systems for a variety of applications.
What You’ll Do
• Verification leadership: Lead and manage a mixed-signal verification team
• Problem solving & innovation: Identify novel solutions for meeting the verification intent with quality and efficiency
• Technical guidance & mentoring: Guide world-wide teams in technical areas, from microarchitecture to productisation
What Else You May Bring (Experience in some of the following areas is a plus)
• Experience in the design of CPU/MCU (sub)systems, compute functions and accelerators
• Development of signal processing components or processing systems
• Programming in Python for automation and C/C++ for embedded software
• Definition of design intent in one or more of specification, microarchitecture, structural / functional assessments (CDC, test readiness), verification methods (formal / simulation), physical design (synthesis, timing/power optimisation), process technology aspects, etc.
• Experience in FPGA prototyping
• Awareness in analog design practices and requirements

What You’ll Need
• B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
• At least 12 years of strong technical experience in VLSI design verification, with specific emphasis on mixed-signal products
• Strong leadership and team management credentials
• An extensive technical background within the development of semiconductor products or sub-components (IPs)
• Experience with embedded CPUs, from a hardware and software/firmware perspective
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to define strategic actions, with appropriate design trade-off analyses
