Job Posting Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for the end‑to‑end delivery of the TSI/Telecoms Engineering Package.

  • Support the Telecoms Lead Engineer in all telecom-related engineering activities.

  • Develop Telecoms Systems Specifications, TSI Scope of Work, and Bill of Materials.

  • Prepare Telecoms system block diagrams, sketches, and related technical documentation.

  • Review and validate telecoms system studies including PAGA coverage, radio coverage, VSAT link calculations, and fibre optic link budgets.

  • Prepare technical requisitions and perform technical bid evaluations for telecoms systems.

  • Perform telecoms power consumption, heat dissipation, and weight calculations.

  • Liaise with clients to address engineering comments and propose technical solutions.

  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to manage system interfaces and integration.

  • Ensure all telecom engineering deliverables comply with technical, quality, and schedule requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Telecommunications).

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Telecoms Detailed Engineering in the Oil and Gas industry, preferably on offshore projects.

  • Knowledge of international regulations, codes, and standards affecting Telecoms Systems.

  • Knowledge of Telecoms studies and calculations.

  • Proficient in writing Telecoms specifications.

  • Team player who can interact effectively with colleagues from other disciplines, clients, and suppliers.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a Telecommunications specialization
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in telecommunications detailed engineering
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Knowledge of international regulations, codes, and standards affecting telecommunications systems
  • Knowledge of telecommunications studies and calculations
  • Proficiency in writing telecommunications specifications
