Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is currently hiring a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse, individuals in the GSC Planning, Requirements & Delivery organization. This position will be located onsite in Melbourne, Fl.

Job Responsibilities:
- Long term capacity and resource planning.
- Aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements.
- Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
- Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments.
- Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling.
- Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM)
requirements. - Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Global Supply Chain Schedules through strategic planning and execution.
- Provide early visibility into purchase requisition requirements release constraints and material excess review.
- Integrate metrics requirements for the Demand Planning Team.
- Communicate program schedule deviations and ensure all impacts are coordinated with internal/external customers prior to implementation and execution.
- Work on a team of individuals in a dynamic, fast-paced Program environment with responsibilities including rapid requirements execution, scrap/spare/replacement planning and serve as a GSC liaison to the Program Operations and GSC Execution IPTs.
Basic Qualifications Sr Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist:
- A Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; A Master’s degree with 6 years of experience supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; OR a High School Diploma with 12 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment .
- MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Must have previous experience in Supply Chain
- SAP Experience
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Bills of Materials
- Experience in Master Schedule driven requirements
