A Day in Your Life at MKS: (Summary & Objectives)
We are seeking a skilled Principal Architect / LeanIX Administrator to manage and optimize our LeanIX platform, ensuring effective use across the organization. The LeanIX Administrator will support enterprise architecture initiatives by maintaining data quality, customizing dashboards, and creating integrations.
Additionally, as a Principal Enterprise Architect you will partner with key IT stakeholders including IT Business Partners, Data and Analytics, Security, Infrastructure, and Enterprise applications teams to lead the creation of Enterprise Architectures, Principles, patterns, strategies, and roadmaps for various business capabilities and drive their adoption within programs. In this role, you will report to the Global Head of Enterprise Architecture.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary LeanIX administrator – Oversee day to day administration and configuration of the platform.
- Support Enterprise Architecture initiatives by maintaining data quality, customizing dashboards, factsheets and creating integrations using out of the box integrations and GraphQL development. For example, ServiceNow.
- Gather, cultivate, cleanse, upload and maintain factsheet data in our EA repository LeanIX
- Provide User support and training to other Architects in the use of repository tools
- Ensure compliance by establishing workflows, surveys, etc.
- Create reports and establish monitoring (KPIs, OKRs, etc) of enterprise assets, technologies, roadmaps, standards, principles and any other artefacts related to the discipline of Enterprise Architecture.
- Partner with IT stakeholders and other Enterprise Architects to define target (“to be”) systems architectures. Identify opportunities where disruptive technologies or approaches can solve complex business problems.
- Lead the architecture definition for various capabilities leveraging industry best practices. This includes creating architectural artifacts such as target and reference architectures, principles, and patterns based on business and IT strategies and roadmaps.
- Assist in the creation of policies, standards, and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation, and use of digital technology within the enterprise (cloud, data, applications, etc.). You will publish and evangelize these architectures and standards for use throughout the organization and work with teams to break down barriers to ensure a solution frictionless delivery experience.
- Ensure the current Enterprise “as is” and “to be” state is documented in the Architecture repository.
Skills You Bring: (Required Skills)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with LeanIX including Certification is a must
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise architecture is a must including developing architectures, patterns, guidelines, and technology standards for project teams
- 5+ years’ experience working with cloud platforms and technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Deep understanding of Business, Application, and Technology Capability models and demonstrable experience driving Architecture around Business Capabilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Track record of designing architectural reference material
- A customer-first mindset to drive architecture that is scalable, cost-effective, and increases business agility.
- Experience or certification in any industry Architectural models such as TOGAF, Zachman, COBIT, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree Required in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in large multi-national IT organization.
- Ability to pivot across various technical domains (Infrastructure, Data & Analytics, ERP, Cloud, Office, etc.)
