Performs higher-level, advanced storage or backup duties as described below. Storage
• Design and maintain Cyber Recovery vault architecture
• Manage air-gapped vault operations
• Configure vault policies and replication schedules
• Validate cyber-recovery copies
• Conduct cyber recovery drills and tabletop exercises
• Troubleshoot Cyber Recovery jobs and vault synchronization
• Analyzes logs and monitors backup activity, identifying errors and anomalies, recommending corrective action as required.
• CyberSense installation and upgrades
• DataDomain, Avamar, and PPDM experience.
• Works with management to understand backup utilization, lifecycle, protection requirements and develop these into effective and workable solutions and processes.
• Works with management to help develop backup policies and procedures, ensuring their communication to relevant stakeholders.
• Develops and implements automated solutions to support operational objectives.
• Provides recommendations to improve backup design and reduce cost.
• Evaluates user needs or problems and takes appropriate action to resolve.
• Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
• Reviews system and application logs, verifies completion of scheduled jobs, including backups.
• Supports efforts to determine storage allocation, backup, and data restoration.
• Performs technical configuration changes.
• Facilitates offsite storage.
• Supports efforts to evaluate new hardware and software management solutions.
• Monitors system performance and generates reports and analysis of storage resources. Backup
• Installs, upgrades and configures backup appliances.
• Performs backup environment performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Handles and responds to high priority tickets and instances.
• Installs and configures data protection software and associated components.
• Sets up data duplication disk pools and related backup devices.

• Performs a range of system recovery and data restores based on client and/or company request.
• Diagnoses platform issues, assisting with root cause analysis and change / risk assessment.
