Sr. Principal BA & Solution Architect

Duties:

·         Oversee technology development solutions through new and existing applications (internal and external), systems architecture, data infrastructure/warehouses, and infrastructure. 

·         Review system requirements and business processes, implement solutions leveraging solution architecture design patterns, and provide maintenance and support of applications. 

·         Partner with business teams to understand fund management, order management, investment compliance, operations and trading workflows and design solutions collaboratively with internal/external teams. 

·         Collaborate with architects, product managers and end-users in the design, testing and implementation of solutions.

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.

• Must have 10 years of progressive experience in IT positions.

• Must  have at least 6 years of experience developing technology solutions through new and existing applications, utilizing/performing the following:
• Working with Charles River IMS front office modules, including: Manager Workbench, Blotters, Workflow rules, Reports, Imports, Extracts, Privileging, Data Schema, Market Data, and Middle Tiers, API, Plugins.
• Working within the Investment Management industry with front office systems & workflows
• Working with a trading desk
• Equity, Fixed Income and Derivative asset classes
• Using solution architecture design patterns (layered architecture, microservices, event driven architecture)
• Utilizing Python, SQL, Excel, BI Tools

• Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of and reports to Invesco offices in Atlanta, GA.  Must be available to travel to Atlanta, GA regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours’ notice.
