The role:

The Compliance Analytics Senior Analyst serves as a critical connector between Compliance and Data Analytics. This role transforms data into actionable insights to strengthen the company’s AML, Sanctions, and Consumer compliance programs. In this role you will lead the development and enhancement of compliance analytics capabilities, dashboards, and automated reporting to improve risk assessments, monitoring, and decision-making.

Operating as an individual contributor with a high degree of autonomy, you will help shape the analytics strategy within Compliance, support priorities across teams, and drive alignment, efficiency, and innovation in compliance data management.

What you’ll do: 

Strategic & Analytical Support

  • Work closely with Compliance stakeholders to analyze key risks and data requirements across AML, sanctions, and consumer compliance programs.
  • Apply analytical techniques to enhance compliance program effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage hands-on data engineering expertise to enhance data quality, accessibility, and integration for compliance use cases.
  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines using dbt orchestration and GitLab for CI/CD workflows to support compliance analytics and reporting.

Analytical Insights Generation

  • Self-starter with experience in generating analytically driven and actionable insights that inform strategic decision making.
  • Translate complex compliance requirements into data-driven insights, metrics, and visualizations to inform risk assessments and strategic decisions.

Analytics Development & Automation

  • Lead the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting tools that track compliance metrics and risk indicators.
  • Build analytical efficiency tools and processes that support early identification of compliance risks and trends.
  • Continuously improve existing reporting mechanisms by leveraging automation, machine learning, and advanced analytics where appropriate.

  • Proactive self-starter with exceptional attention to detail, capable of driving results and operating with minimal direction and support.
  • Thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments while setting goals and tackling complex compliance and data challenges.
  • Communicate analytical findings effectively to senior management, regulatory partners, and cross-functional teams.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in compliance analytics, risk analytics, or a similar data-driven compliance function (e.g., AML, consumer compliance, operational risk).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Passion for uncovering hidden patterns, identify trends and emerging risks and opportunities using data
  • Experience with data transformation and orchestration tools (e.g., dbt) and version control/CI/CD practices (e.g., GitLab).
  • Proven experience building dashboards and automation tools (e.g.,Python, SQL, Tableau, or similar platforms). Experience working with Snowflake tables
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, regulatory expectations, and risk management principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory requirements into measurable data insights.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical audiences. 
  • Highly self-directed with a track record of setting and achieving ambitious goals

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
