Under general supervision, the position is responsible for processing complex LTL rate publications with the highest level of accuracy while meeting customer deadlines. The incumbent independently manages the entirety of LTL customer and carrier publications, facilitates successful adherence to publication timelines, and works on additional team projects.Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
• Publish rates and accessorials into rate database for accurate invoicing and billing.
• Initiate setup of new fuel programs and validate existing fuel surcharge programs for accurate billing.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand customer requirements and objectives related to pricing.
• Process and manipulate large data sets for customer bid and proposals.
• Translate rates into the final agreement format and return with all necessary documents to ensure proposals can be approved and finalized in a timely manner.
• Audit final carrier pricing agreements against approved/awarded proposals to ensure accuracy, including converting between rate formats where required.
• Facilitate the successful implementation of awarded pricing; including gathering of approvals/signatures from internal parties, carriers, and customers; managing progress toward a timely completion; and proactively escalating exceptions to the appropriate internal and external decision makers.
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation is saved for each publication update, and ensure appropriate status updates and handoffs of key information are shared with internal stakeholders.
• Analyze rate and accessorial publications to identify root causes of billing inaccuracies.
• Train and mentor new hires.
• Lead internal customer stakeholder meetings.
• Depending on specific interests and skills, this position also offers significant ability to own additional team projects and strategic initiatives supporting the work of the LTL Pricing team at large.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
· 2-3 years experience in transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, pricing, finance, and/or military equivalent.
· AND/OR Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military experience, or other experiences.
· Ability to prioritize workload when working with multiple deadlines.
· Ability to work with large data sets and multi-step processes accurately.
· Proficient time-management skills.
· Ability to adhere to defined principles/standards/procedures.
· Ability to proactively communicate progress and to escalate effectively when timelines are at risk.
· Ability to multitask.
· Experience in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications:
· Familiarity with LTL pricing and rate structures.
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Transportation Logistics, or related field.

Compensation:
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
