Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Power Platform Developer with strong hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise solutions using the full Microsoft Power Platform suite.

The ideal candidate will be highly experienced with Power Apps Model-Driven development and Microsoft Dataverse, along with strong capabilities in Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365. This individual will serve as a senior member of the development team, work directly with DHA customers to understand requirements, lead development efforts, and mentor junior developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power Apps Model-Driven applications.
  • Design and configure Dataverse tables, relationships, forms, views, business rules, business process flows, and security roles.
  • Develop and maintain Power Automate flows supporting complex business processes, approvals, notifications, and system integrations.
  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports, including Power Query, data modeling, DAX, KPIs, and interactive visualizations.
  • Develop and support Canvas Apps and Power Fx as needed.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, SQL, Dataverse, and APIs.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, knowledge bases, permissions, and content.
  • Work directly with customers to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Lead development efforts and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, workflow, data, integration, and reporting issues.
  • Support Power Platform Solutions, ALM, testing, deployments, and documentation.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities and customer demonstrations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Six (6)+ years of progressive experience in application/software development, including strong Microsoft Power Platform experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Power Apps Model-Driven development.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Dataverse, including data modeling, relationships, forms, views, business rules, business process flows, and security.
  • Strong experience with Power Automate, including complex flows and integrations.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, including dashboards, Power Query, data modeling, DAX, and KPIs.
  • Experience with Canvas Apps and Power Fx.
  • Strong experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and enterprise data sources.
  • Experience with Power Platform Solutions and ALM.
  • Experience working directly with customers to gather and translate requirements.
  • Previous experience as a Senior or Lead Developer, including mentoring junior developers.
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Current CompTIA Security+ CE certification required at start.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active security clearance and/or favorable Tier 3 investigation preferred.
  • Previous DHA, DoD, VA, or Federal Government experience.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL-400.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, REST APIs, JSON, and custom connectors.
  • Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity and Section 508 requirements.

  • Candidate must be a US citizen and must be able to pass a security background check
  • Candidate must reside in the US.
