We are seeking a senior Sr Platform Integration Engineer to lead backend and platform integration work for cloud-native modernization projects. This role focuses on migrating applications into Kubernetes, deploying and validating workloads, and resolving integration and deployment issues across AWS and Azure environments.
This position offers the opportunity to drive large-scale platform modernization initiatives, apply Python development skills, and work with containerization, Helm charts, deployment automation, and Kubernetes networking and integration.
Responsibilities- Design and execute application migrations into Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop and maintain deployment automation for containerized workloads.
- Configure and deploy workloads using Helm charts and Kubernetes primitives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, integration, and runtime issues.
- Validate application performance and behavior after migration.
- Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and application teams to define integration requirements.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes networking and integration configurations.
- Support cloud-native modernization efforts on AWS and Azure.
- Document migration processes, runbooks, and post-migration validations.
- 5+ years of experience in backend or platform integration engineering.
- Strong Python development expertise for automation and tooling.
- Demonstrated experience migrating applications into Kubernetes and configuring deployments.
- Proven experience with containerization and managing containerized workloads.
- Experience using Helm charts to package and deploy applications.
- Hands-on experience with deployment automation for cloud-native platforms.
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes networking and integration patterns.
- Experience supporting cloud-native modernization projects on AWS and Azure.
- Track record of validating performance and resolving issues post-migration.
- Experience with OpenSearch.
- Experience with Ansible.
- Experience with Fluent Bit.
- Experience with Keycloak.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Participation in large-scale platform modernization initiatives.
- Engagement Length: 12 months or more.
