Job Description

Role Overview:
As a Senior Golang Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance microservices and applications with a focus on cloud infrastructure using our private cloud and AWS. You will be working within our Enterprise Services team working on our LLM as a Service. You will be working on and implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) and manage services on Kubernetes (EKS and on our own Kubernetes as a Service in our private cloud). This role requires a strong foundation in software development, cloud services, and DevOps automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices and backend services using Golang.
• Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance cloud-native applications.
• Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation and Jsonnet.
• Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Optimize cloud-based systems for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps.
• Conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on backend services.
• 3+ years of experience developing applications in Golang.
• Proven experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation (e.g., GitHub actions).
• Strong understanding of cloud-native design patterns, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus and Grafana).
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
