Job Description:

The Brand Planning Sr Planner executes the core financial planning work for assigned regions or categories. This role owns the data, the models, and the reporting that keeps the Open to Buy process running accurately. Planners are the operational engine of the global planning team — their work directly enables both Global Merchandising decisions and Regional Planning execution.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Setting and maintaining total Division financial targets pre-season including sales and margin. Reconciling with Regional Planning, Merchandising, and leadership partners
  • Establishing mid-level plan targets including attribute goals, largest volume items, sku count allocation, and costing
  • Partnering with cross functional team around the globe to deliver assortment strategies including Regional Planning, Global Merchandising, Sourcing, and more
  • Reading and reacting to global assortment performance including robust learning agenda
  • Brand fabric and trim liability management
  • Test financial model support — build scenario models for Director and VP review
  • Financial data maintenance — ensure accuracy of planning system inputs and report outputs
  • Key item creation and inventory commit management
  • Present financial data accessibly to merchant and regional planning audiences
  • Proactively identify process improvements and brings them to the Director

What Do You Need to Bring?

  • 6+ years in retail or wholesale planning
  • Experience building and maintaining OTB models- hands-on technical planning skills required
  • Exposure to global or multi-region planning environments preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills- experience with planning systems such as JDA, Blue Yonder, or Oracle a strong plus
  • Ability to build accurate and well-organized financial models
  • Ability errors in data and models before they affect decisions
  • Clear communication skills
