  • Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting  

  • Experience supporting multi-site observer configurations 

  • Familiarity with performance tuning (AWR/ASH)

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Role - Sr. Oracle Database Administrator with 10+ years Oracle database administration experience supporting large scale or enterprise level database services.

  • 10 + years’ experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Oracle’s database.  Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as, the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.

  • Significant experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery.

  • Experience with DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration.

  • BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent years’ experience.

  • Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.

  • Top Secret SCI with LS poly.

  • Security + CE required.

  • Duty hours are TBD based on needs

Desired: Currently holds or recently held SYS3 PRIVAC level.



Skills Required

  • 10+ years Oracle database administration experience supporting large-scale/enterprise databases.
  • Top Secret SCI with Local/Site polygraph (LS poly).
  • Security+ CE certification.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle 19c on Linux (non-RAC).
  • Significant experience with RAC production and deployment.
  • Experience managing Oracle Data Guard, Data Guard Broker, and FSFO in multi-standby environments.
  • Experience supporting multi-site observer configurations for Data Guard FSFO.
  • Experience with RMAN backup/recovery, FRA support, and Flashback Database.
  • Experience with Oracle patching and lifecycle management (RU/CPU), including planning and validation.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (Cloud Control) for monitoring and alerting.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning using AWR and ASH.
  • Experience with DB security technologies (DB Vault, Label Security) and data migration.
  • Independent worker with strong communication skills.
  • Currently holds or recently held SYS3 PRIVAC level.
