We are seeking an experienced Sr. Operations Project Manager to lead complex EMS manufacturing programs, including New Product Introductions (NPI), product transfers, and strategic customer initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, customer management skills, and a solid manufacturing background to drive projects from planning through successful production launch.
The ideal candidate will combine program management expertise with hands-on knowledge of manufacturing operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, quality, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams supporting NPI, manufacturing transfers, and operational projects
- Manage project scope, schedule, risks, resources, and deliverables
- Serve as the primary interface between customers, operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams
- Drive project execution from requirements gathering through production readiness and product launch
- Monitor project KPIs and communicate status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership
- Coordinate resource planning and support operational capacity requirements
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence across projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, Business, or related field
- PMP Certification preferred
- 10+ years of experience in Project/Program Management within a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience leading New Product Introductions (NPI) and international manufacturing transfers
- Strong experience managing customer-facing projects and cross-functional teams
- Advanced English communication skills
Preferred Manufacturing Experience
Candidates should have a solid understanding of:
- Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or complex manufacturing environments
- SMT (Surface Mount Technology) processes
- PCB Assembly and Backend Assembly operations
- Core Quality Tools (FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC)
- APQP principals (PPAP, Run at Rate)
- DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA (Design for Assembly), and DFX methodologies
- Product industrialization, manufacturing readiness, and production ramp-up
- Manufacturing validation and testing processes
