Node.js and Spring Boot Developer

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a skilled Senior Node.js + Spring Boot Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is integral in developing scalable, high-performance applications that drive our business objectives forward. As a Senior Developer, you will leverage your expertise in Node.js and Spring Boot to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge solutions, enhancing our technological capabilities and delivering value to our clients.

Software Requirements

• Required:

  • Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with TypeScript
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with API gateway integrations, like 3Scale
  • Experience with task/message queues, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka

• Preferred:

  • Practical experience with GraphQL
  • Understanding of single-sign-on or token-based authentication (REST, JWT, OAuth)

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and highly-available RESTful APIs using Node.js and Spring Boot
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot issues in a distributed services ecosystem
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of technical and application architecture
• Research and benchmark technology against industry best practices
• Provide technical leadership and influence teams on best practices

• Programming Languages:

  • Essential: Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Preferred: Java for Spring Boot

• Databases/Data Management:

  • Essential: Experience with various databases (experience with specific databases may be preferred)

• Cloud Technologies:

  • Essential: Knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure

• Frameworks and Libraries:

  • Essential: Spring Boot, Node.js libraries

• Development Tools and Methodologies:

  • Essential: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools
  • Preferred: Experience with Agile methodologies

• Security Protocols:

  • Essential: Understanding of REST, JWT, OAuth authentication

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of coding experience in Node.js, JavaScript, and databases
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with TypeScript
• Proven Spring Boot experience
• Experience in banking, financial services, or fintech in an enterprise environment is preferred

Day-to-Day Activities

• Write and test code for Node.js and Spring Boot applications
• Engage in debugging and performance tuning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives
• Contribute to the seamless deployment and operation of applications

Qualifications

• Degree or post-graduate qualification in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience
