Sr. Networking Architect

Netrix Global is seeking to add a Sr. Network Architect to our Cloud team. The role will provide daily challenges, and no day will be the same as the next. This role will have both operational and strategic responsibilities, along with direct and independent interaction with customers. The Senior Network Architect will be a technical lead for designing, implementing, and supporting network and security solutions for medium and enterprise business, educational, and government clients. The Senior Network Architect will work directly with Netrix clients to uncover business or technical needs that can be fulfilled through networking security technology and Netrix consulting services.

The Sr. Network Architect role will deliver and lead professional services (hardware/software) to clients on a variety of platforms and vendors, including Palo Alto, Cisco, Meraki, Juniper, Palo Alto, Forescout, Fortinet, etc. The Sr. Network Architect’s goal will be to deliver high-quality services with committed delivery dates and will include, but are not limited to the following:  

• Design and implementation of Next Generation Network and Security Solutions such as Next Generation Firewalls, SASE, SDWAN, Switching, Routing, Data Center, Firewalls solutions.  
• Design and implementation experience with datacenter and enterprise network and security architectures.  
• Experience with Enterprise and datacenter network migrations and cutovers 
• Experience with public (Azure and AWS) and hybrid cloud networking and security architecture. 
• Experience with designing and implementing indoor and outdoor wireless solutions, including conducting RF surveys (predictive and physical). 
• Implementation of Network Access Controls including Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, and ForeScout.  
• Provide thought and technical leadership amongst team members   

• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of network consulting experience in a similar role required 
• Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco and Palo Alto solutions, including Next Generation Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma Access, Prisma SDWAN, Corex XDR, Cisco Secure Access, Umbrella, Cisco and Meraki Networking, Cisco ISE, Cisco FTD, Cisco and Meraki SDWAN. 
• Expert experience with design, implementation, and troubleshooting Cisco and Palo Alto network and security solutions. 
• Expert knowledge of Cisco Palo Alto next-generation firewall hardware, licensing, and support options. 
• Active CCNP, PCNSC required. PNCSE and CCIE preferred.  
• Extensive knowledge in Cisco Routing/Switching and Firewall Solutions 
• Advanced knowledge of L2 and L3 Protocols, including in-depth experience with Spanning-Tree, OSFP and BGP 
• Extensive experience in network designs including LLW(Low-Level) and HLD (High-Level) design documentation and design diagraming 
• Advanced experience in network implementations including greenfield and brownfield deployments 
• Experience in solution design and proposals that define customer expectations, and product and services requirements that are necessary to achieve client objectives 
• Customer-facing experience, including whiteboarding, design discussions, presentation, and reporting 
• Experience in network assessments and network discovery required 
• Working experience with Juniper R/S, Meraki and Fortinet Firewalls, and Cisco ISE preferred 
• Experience in Next Generation Firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, FirePOWER) design and implementation required 
• Experience in design and implementation of Network Access solutions (Cisco ISE/Forescout) preferred 
• In-depth knowledge of IPSec/SSL required 
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision 
• CCIE Security certifications are preferred but not required 
• Out-of-the-box thinking - textbook solutions are not always the best answer 
• Other duties may be assigned
