Responsibilities:

1. Network Design and Architecture:

   • Design and architect network solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
   • Develop and implement strategies for network optimization, scalability, and security.

2. Implementation and Deployment:

   • Configure and deploy network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and cloud networking components.
   • Implement routing protocols, VLANs, VPNs, and other network services as needed.

3. Security and Compliance:

   • Implement and maintain firewall policies and access control lists (ACLs) to ensure network security.
   • Monitor and enforce compliance with security standards and industry regulations.

4. Cloud Networking:

   • Design and implement network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments (e.g., Azure).
   • Configure and manage cloud networking services, such as virtual networks, subnets, and security groups.

5. Troubleshooting and Support:

   • Investigate and resolve network-related issues, outages, and performance degradation.
   • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for complex network problems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of senior-level experience in network engineering, with expertise in route switch, firewall, and cloud networking.
• Expertise in Cisco networking technologies and platforms.
• Experience with Azure Networking and cloud networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Arista, Fortinet, and Palo Alto networking technologies (Palo Alto certification is a plus).
• In-depth knowledge of firewall configuration, routing, and switching protocols.
• Strong understanding of virtualized networking environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Working Conditions:

• This is a full-time position based in Phoenix.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for project implementations and network maintenance.
