We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Network Engineer to oversee and manage the full lifecycle of our organization’s network infrastructure. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring network performance, stability, scalability, and security across our multi-site enterprise, including both U.S.-based and remote locations. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in designing complex network solutions and has hands-on experience with SD-WAN, NAT, IPSec, and vendor management.
What you'll do:
- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-wide network infrastructure including data centers, WAN/LAN, and site connectivity.
- Manage and monitor network systems across platforms including Unifi (all sites except CA) and Meraki (CA).
- In depth understanding of common layer 2 and layer 3 network protocols and best practices; working knowledge of OSPF, BGP, PIM, IGMP.
- Experience in designing enterprise networks, capacity planning, and full lifecycle project management.
- Expert knowledge of firewall configurations, VPNs, SD-WAN, VLAN segmentation, and advanced NAT policies.
- Strong experience with SIEM solutions, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management.
- Monitor network health using tools such as DataDog, and address performance bottlenecks or reliability issues.
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance.
- Drive continual service improvement and scalability plans.
What you'll need:
- 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience, preferably in a multi-site enterprise.
- Deep experience in network design, troubleshooting, and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN (Required), NAT, IPSec VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Unifi, Meraki, Cisco, Avigilon, and security systems integration.
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., DataDog).
- Excellent vendor management and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% during initial rollout/stabilization phase.
Preferred Certifications:
- CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent networking certifications are highly desirable.
