The team
We represent Hitachi Vantara to enterprise clients across industries, establishing business relationships to understand customer challenges so that we can deliver profitable business for Hitachi products, services and solutions. We collaborate as a team and cross-functionally to ensure the success of our customers; success that is celebrated and shared. The role
1. Engineer, design and deploy network solutions based on business requirements with focus on Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco SDWAN and Cisco Catalyst switching and Routing.
2. Create HLD,LLD to implement new network infrastructure and perform installation qualification assessment.Implement resilient network solutions leveraging dynamic routing protocols like OSPF and BGP.
3. Process Firewall access requests in accordance to organization defined security policies. Fine tune URL filtering, Threat prevention, DNS security policies through Panorama templates and device groups.
4. Implement, manage Global Protect VPN portals and gateways across globe with focus on zero trust network principles.
5. Handle operational tickets and ensure resolution according to the defined SLAs. Perform planned maintenance activities, code upgrades as and when required.
What you’ll bring
1. Demonstrable experience in configuring security profiles like Anti virus, Anti spyware, Threat prevention, URL filtering, etc. on Palo Alto firewalls through Panorama.
2. Experience in network security, tools, and technologies including firewalls, 802.1x, NAC, etc.
3. Atleast 5 years of industry experience in enterprise network switching and routing protocols which include OSPF, BGP, HSRP, STP and VTP.
4. Industry certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security
Administrator (PCNSA) or Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer
(PCNSE) is mandatory
5. Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
