Dew Software is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's computer networks. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high levels of network performance, security, and availability. - Design and implement robust and scalable network architectures.
- Manage network projects from conception to completion.
- Ensure the security and integrity of network infrastructure and data.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance.
- Evaluate emerging network technologies and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and standard operating procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network engineering.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, VPNs, and DNS.
- Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN gateways.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark.
- CCNP or CCIE certification is strongly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
