THE OPPORTUNITY
Iron Bow Technologies is looking for a Network Engineer to join our team and provide subject matter expertise, leadership, and insight on advanced networking and data center networking to our government client. Emphasis on deploying and managing advanced infrastructure solutions partner technologies and service delivery.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Drive and build networking solutions and capabilities with our customers
- Work closely with customers to consultatively build technology requirements around mission and business objectives
- Actively research, evaluate and drive service provider and data center technologies and solutions to solve customer needs
- Manage solution deployment adhering to modern industry best practices while meeting and exceeding customer expectations
- Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partner community and customer base
SKILLS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS
- High School Diploma with 16+ years IT experience
- Security+CE or equivalent IAT II certification required
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- CCNP required
- Experience in Federal Government networking especially working with DISA
- DoD Experience incorporating WAN routing (USSOCOM experience CONUS/OCONUS such as TSOCs or Deployed is a value add). Experience with MacDill Network is desirable.
- Experience with MicroSoft 365 Networking (MS Azure) – such as back-end experience running cloud version of email portal, etc.
- Experience with large-scale WAN and SD-WAN deployments – either Catalyst or Meraki SD-WAN
- Familiarity with automation - infrastructure as a Service via manipulating ACI to build out configs automatically
- At a high level it sounds like they want someone familiar with Microsoft Azure/cloud networking, Catalyst SD-WAN, ACI, and Catalyst Center/SD Access.
- Familiarity with various protocols such as Nexus ACI, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN
- Familiarity with Cisco ISE - SD Access SGT & Micro Segmentation Repeaters
- Catalyst Center (DNA Center) – automated policies & auto enrollment
- Ability to implement and manage advanced networking solutions at multiple levels of the enterprise and data center across multiple network OEM product lines (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
- Excellent oral presentation skills and ability to present in front of small to large audiences
- Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize various project deliverables, committed in meeting target deadlines

COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT INFORMATION
The salary range for this position is $160,000- 175,000. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.
Iron Bow Technologies reserves the right to fill this role at a different level, depending on qualifications and organizational priorities. This range represents only one component of Iron Bow’s total compensation package. An overview of our benefits is available on our careers page.
