BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a Sr. .NET
Web Architect position. The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida. The
incumbent must live in Florida and be available to work in Tallahassee, Florida
if required. Consultants are required to be off the week of Christmas and New
Year unless services are required with prior approval from division leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Will assist in
developing specifications as well as overall planning and management of
projects.
- Will meet with
leadership to provide status reports on a weekly basis and provides monthly
written reports which will include accomplishments, areas of concern, and
recommended solutions. Communicate project progress and information to team,
sponsor, stakeholders, and legislative body as appropriate.
- Will ensure
technical direction and standards are being followed.
- Will develop
project plans and measures actual progress against the plans.
- Will assures
that project documentation includes the project plans, budgets, risk plans,
communication plans, change control logs, and reports.
- Will demonstrate
an understanding of tactical goals and effectively participates in the
development and implementation of business solutions.
- Will manage
project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning
techniques.
- Will manage
change control within the projects.
- Will obtain
sponsor approval for changes to scope, budget, and schedule that affect the
critical path.
- Will write documentation showing testing and
verification of modifications to ensure that objectives are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor of
Science/Arts degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems Degree,
or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years
of experience with Oracle Databases, Oracle functions, stored procedures,
triggers, packages & performance tuning.
- Minimum 8 years
of experience developing Microsoft ASP.NET web applications, & Proficient
in converting ASP.net web forms to MVC.
- Experience with
C#.Net, MVC, ASP.NET 4.XX, OOPS, Webservices, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JavaScript
frameworks.
- Familiarity with
Dot Net core application development.
- Familiarity with
Azure services and application development on Azure.
- Experience with
Microsoft SQL Server; Creating and Writing Stored Procedures.
- Experience with
batch processing and data loading.
- Experience with
SQL Server Reporting Services 2017 and above.
- Experience with
SQL Server Integration Services.
- Proficiency with
Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint.
- Gathering and
documenting business and technical requirements.
- Experience
testing custom applications, reports, large data sets, or dashboards.
- Producing
technical documentation related to requirements, specifications, traceability
matrices, designs, testing.
- Experience with
working with development teams on large enterprise projects.
Skills Required
- Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience with Oracle databases, functions, stored procedures, triggers, packages, and performance tuning
- At least 8 years of experience developing Microsoft ASP.NET web applications
- Experience converting ASP.NET Web Forms applications to MVC
- Experience with C#.NET, MVC, ASP.NET 4.x, object-oriented programming, web services, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with .NET Core application development
- Familiarity with Azure services and application development on Azure
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and creating stored procedures
- Experience with batch processing and data loading
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services 2017 or later
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint
- Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
- Experience testing custom applications, reports, large datasets, or dashboards
- Experience producing technical documentation for requirements, specifications, traceability matrices, designs, and testing
