Who You Are: 

Boundless Immigration is seeking a Sr. Motion Designer/Editor to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually stunning and engaging motion graphics and videos that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives. You will also play a key role in managing and optimizing our YouTube channel and versioning video content to use on Instagram and TikTok. 

Key Responsibilities:

Motion Graphics and Video:

• Conceptualize, design, and produce original motion graphics videos from scratch for various marketing campaigns, social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram), and digital channels.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts that effectively communicate our brand message and product features through motion graphics.
• Utilize your expertise in motion design, animation, and visual effects to create compelling and informative video content.
• Incorporate kinetic typography, illustrations, and other visual elements to enhance the visual storytelling in your videos.
• Edit and refine video content, incorporating sound design and music to create a polished final product.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies (including AI) to continuously improve the quality and impact of our motion graphics and video content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of creativity and production quality.
• Ensure brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all motion graphics and video projects.
• Efficiently version out content in multiple aspect ratios and formats to optimize for different platforms.

YouTube Channel Management and Optimization:

• Oversee the day-to-day channel management for Boundless brand YouTube channel.
• Monitor analytics and viewer feedback to inform internal stakeholders, understand audience preferences, and make data-driven decisions.
• Research trending topics related to immigration on TikTok and YouTube and reference them to create additional content ideas. 
• Collaborate with various teams to develop engaging, YouTube-first videos and streams.
• Manage strong relationships with channel management, localization, moderation, content creation, and video optimization vendors and agencies.
• Consistently seek out and evaluate helpful new partners and tools to assist in channel growth and optimization plans.
• Conduct keyword research and stay updated on YouTube algorithm changes to optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails for maximum visibility.
• Implement best practices for SEO to improve channel discoverability and search rankings.
• Foster Boundless's community on YouTube through listening and engagement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Film Production, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in motion graphics design and video editing, with a strong focus on creating original content.
• A dynamic reel showcasing high-quality motion graphics videos that you have conceptualized and produced.
• Proven experience as a Motion Designer/Editor, SaaS industry experience a plus
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of design principles, animation techniques, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent creative and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience in a slack-first, remote environment
• Familiarity with analytics tools, such as YouTube Analytics and Google Trends.
• Experience working within strict brand and/or legal guidelines is a plus.
• 4-6 years of experience managing and growing YouTube channels is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of YouTube algorithms, SEO best practices, and the latest trends in online video content.
