Location: Dallas, TX – Hybrid (requires in office presence minimum 2 days per week but flexible)

Blue Yonder is a leading provider of digital supply chain solutions. We are seeking a talented Sr ML Engineer with a strong foundation in Generative AI to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing cutting-edge AI-powered solutions that will revolutionize our products and services.

Scope:

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team focused on developing and deploying innovative AI solutions across our product portfolio. You will work closely with researchers, engineers, and product managers to translate cutting-edge AI research into real-world applications.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software systems leveraging Generative AI models (e.g., Large Language Models, Diffusion Models, etc.).
• Conduct thorough research and experimentation with the latest advancements in Generative AI, including model architectures, training techniques, and evaluation methods.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to best practices and engineering principles.
• Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to fellow engineers.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers and UX designers.
• Contribute to the definition of technical roadmaps and architectural decisions.
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing and contribute to the broader AI community.
• Identify and explore novel applications of Generative AI within our products and services.
• Conduct research and experimentation with new and emerging AI technologies.
• Develop innovative solutions to challenging problems, pushing the boundaries of what is possible with Generative AI.
• Continuously learn and adapt to the rapidly evolving field of Generative AI.

What we are looking for:

Must-Have

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in Python programming. 
• Strong understanding of foundational Machine Learning/ML and Data Science concepts and algorithms.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for building cutting-edge AI products.

Nice to Have

• Deep expertise in one or more areas of Generative AI; Large Language Models (LLMs), Diffusion Models or Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs)
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with MLOps and deploying AI models to production.
• Experience with building and deploying high-performance distributed systems.
• Contributions to open-source projects in the AI/ML space.
• A strong publication record in top-tier AI/ML conferences or journals.

The salary range for this position is $114,104 - $143,896

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
