Manage a medium sized (under 20 members) delivery team with responsibility for technical delivery, stakeholder management and people management.
Mandatory Skills:
Technology
Thorough understanding of Object-oriented analysis, design, and development abilities.
Should have 12 – 15 years of overall experience working on Java and J2EE technologies
Should have exposure to web languages and standards including HTML, HTML5, XML, CSS, CSS3 and JQuery / JavaScript.
Should have exposure to Spring Hibernate framework.
Should have exposure to EJB’s, Webservices, REST.
Experience with a relational database and PL/SQL
General
Should have led/managed a team of developers (8 to 15) working on Java and J2EE technologies towards functional and technical delivery.
Should have the ability to help developers technically in their day to day work.
Excellent communication skills to work with global stakeholders.
Signiificant experience in Agile Methodologies.
Other desirable experience:
Java web frameworks such as JSP & struts and JSF
UNIX operating systems (Sun Solaris), Tools & Utilities
AJAX
Sun JAVA Certification
Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Project)
JUnit test cases
