The Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics & Modeling is responsible for leading advanced analytics capabilities for Ocean Spray that support critical business decisions. This role partners closely with marketing, sales, brand elevation and IT to translate data into actionable insights thru the use of statistical modeling, AI and ML. The Sr. Manager needs to be able to simplify and translate complex model results into actionable business recommendations. The Senior Manager leads a team of analytics, reporting and visualization professionals, manages complex datasets across internal and external sources, and applies statistical and analytical expertise to solve business problems. This role operates with autonomy, influences cross-functional outcomes, and contributes to functional strategy while remaining focused on execution, delivery, and talent development.

A Day in the Life...

Applied Analytics & Modeling

  • Ability to provide analytical expertise to support modeling initiatives, business issue resolution, and advanced analytics use cases.
  • Collaborate with internal analytics teams and external partners to scope, review, and apply analytical models that improve business outcomes.
  • Anticipate emerging analytical needs and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Keep a pulse of external methodologies in modeling techniques, AL and ML with the eye to bring it into Ocean Spray

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of analytics and visualization professionals, including managers and senior individual contributors.
  • Set clear objectives, prioritize work, and ensure alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Foster a high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement, collaboration, and analytical rigor.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Demand Planning, Revenue Management, Supply Planning, Sales, Marketing, and other functions to define business needs and translate into analytics requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Growth Management to help build out, visualize and model pricing and promo reporting
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to business stakeholders by translating complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Support decision-making through scenario analysis, trend identification, and performance measurement.

Data & Technology Enablement

  • Collaborate closely with Global IT counterparts to maintain and enhance the analytics and intelligence framework, tools, datasets, and standards.
  • Lead efforts to connect key technical data sources and identify opportunities to drive automation and improve data accessibility.
  • Evaluate and adopt new analytics approaches, tools, or methods that increase efficiency and productivity.

Operational & Process Leadership

  • Establish and refine analytics standards and best practices within the function.
  • Balance short-term delivery with longer-term capability building.
  • Contribute to functional planning, resourcing, and prioritization decisions.

What We Are Looking For:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required in an analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Data Science, Economics).
  • 7–10 years of experience in analytics, data management, reporting, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with statistical programming languages i.e. SAS, R, Python, etc. and CPG data structures Nielsen and IRI.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams in advanced analytics, modeling, or business intelligence environments.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing analytics teams.
  • Strong ability to partner with and influence cross-functional leaders.
  • Ability to work with external analytic partners.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and setting direction within defined strategic guardrails.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data integration processes, and analytical methodologies.
  • Advanced experience with relational databases and analytical tools.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization platforms (Power BI preferred).
  • Ability to translate technical analysis into business-relevant insights and recommendations.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and simplify complex problems.
  • Demonstrated success driving automation, efficiency, and scalable analytics solutions.
  • Passionate about using data to drive better decisions.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and improve existing processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to role model collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Annual Salary:

$128,000 - $176,000
