About the Job

As a Senior Metal Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining metal deposition processes within our semiconductor manufacturing operations. You will lead process improvement initiatives focused on yield enhancement, cost reduction, process capability improvement, and new technology development.

This role requires strong expertise in statistical process control, DOE methodologies, failure analysis, and advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize, and sustain metal process technologies.
  • Drive yield improvement and cost reduction projects.
  • Lead DOE design, data analysis, and process capability enhancement activities.
  • Conduct wafer failure analysis and identify root causes of process excursions.
  • Improve SPC performance and maintain process capability targets.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, FMEA, and Control Plans.
  • Lead quality and capacity improvement projects.
  • Support customer audits and implement corrective actions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.

You are an experienced semiconductor process engineer who enjoys leveraging data and engineering expertise to solve manufacturing challenges. You have a strong passion for continuous improvement and technology development.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of semiconductor wafer fabrication experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Sputtering, Evaporation, Furnace, and Wet Process technologies.
  • Solid experience with DOE, SPC, FMEA, and statistical data analysis.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
  • Experience in yield improvement, process optimization, and cost reduction projects.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
