Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead sustainable RCM implementation across the site, and own reliability strategy deployment to meet or exceed compliance requirements
- Evaluate and apply PdM technologies
- Pareto equipment performance issues to prioritize work activities and resources
- Develop PM work procedures to be used by maintenance technicians
- Support MOC activities from a Reliability perspective
- Effectively communicate to Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams regarding reliability strategies, plant strategies/performance measures and asset objectives/goals
- Lead and/or Participate on RCFA investigations and FMEA teams
- Provide troubleshooting and assistance for unusual or persistent problems
- Work with Capital Project Engineering to define specifications and reliability/maintainability standards for new equipment
- Collect and analyze reliability data, maintenance costs, and failure data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Actively coach others to facilitate learning and understanding to avoid repeat failures and events
- Work with the Reliability Specialists and Maintenance Technicians to address deviations in equipment performance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Reliability experience in a chemical manufacturing site experience + minimum of 5 years Reliability experience in a chemical manufacturing site experience
Desired Characteristics
- Practical knowledge of reliability processes (RCFA, FMEA, LCCA) and predictive technologies (ultrasound, vibration analysis, thermography)
- Ability and willingness to work off shift, as required.
- Ability to assume additional responsibilities, as required.
- Minimum 10-15 years of Reliability experience in a chemical manufacturing site
- Experience with CMMS and Maintenance processes
