Job Description
Design the future of RF and microwave technology. Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience in developing advanced microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for aerospace, defense, and communications. Our products support critical missions across global markets, including aviation, radar, Satcom, space, and electronic warfare. If you’re passionate about mechanical design and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is for you.
What you’ll do- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for RF MIC modules and subsystems
- Perform engineering calculations, stress analysis, and tolerance modeling to ensure mechanical robustness
- Collaborate with electrical, process, and manufacturing teams for seamless integration
- Create detailed documentation, BOMs, and routings in ERP/PDM systems
- Lead product testing, develop test methods, and prepare validation reports
- Evaluate design alternatives based on cost, quality, and production feasibility
- Use SolidWorks CAD software for design and modeling
- Support continuous improvement and design best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 15+ years of related experience (required)
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and strong CAD design skills (required)
- Experience with FEA modeling and mechanical stress analysis (advantage)
- Knowledge of materials such as aluminum, molybdenum, Kovar, and ceramics (advantage)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (required)
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects (required)
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (required)

Salary Range:
$177,500.00-$236,600.000Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
