Leidos is seeking a Sr. Master Program Scheduler to support the Digital Modernization Sector, DISA Defense Red Switch Network in support of an enterprise VoIP management system – Operations II (GSM-O II) contract based at Fort Meade.
The Program Scheduler who will be responsible for all aspects of creating and maintaining a resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). In depth IMS Project skills will be required to facilitate meetings to define for ~25 projects the key milestones, activities, resources, activity and resource dependencies, predecessors, successors, etc. They will construct and maintain the schedule, run reports, and generate reports and views.
This role reports through the Sector Scheduling Manager the larger enterprise-wide Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) and Scheduling Center of Excellence (COE) for functional guidance while supporting the DRSN program on a day-to-day basis.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for applying scheduling theory to develop and maintain a resource loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) schedule using best practices as in the Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG).
- Implement program scheduling business rhythms, developing baseline schedules and associated artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements, and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule.
- Strong communications skills with the ability to work with the functional areas to identify and maintain all schedule tasks and dependencies.
- In conjunction with the Project Manager, and with input from the cross-functional team, generate, publish and maintain an accurate a Master Schedule, using MS Project Online and Project Web App (PWA), showing the tasks and resources required to deliver on-time, per customer requirements and milestones.
- Develop and maintain linkages, dependencies and inter-dependencies with related projects.
- Ensure internal and external dependencies are documented and tracked for risk management.
- Identify and generate a portfolio report of major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project events
- Responsible for resource loading the IMS to inform an integrated technical, schedule, and resource baseline.
- Perform resource leveling across the portfolio.
- Identify critical path and task dependencies.
- Set and maintain the baseline schedule.
- Perform ‘what if’ scenarios within the schedule.
- Develop schedule version control processes.
- Generate schedule reports based on planned vs actual dates.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have/be able to maintain a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Advanced expertise using Microsoft Project
- Must possess an understanding of advanced scheduling theory (e.g., PASEG) including experience with:
- Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) architecture (e.g., WBS or IMP based)
- schedule status processes
- schedule health assessment (e.g., 14-Point Analysis)
- resource loading/management
- Baseline Change Control and IMS configuration management.
- schedule execution metrics (BEI, CEI, CPLI, finish variance, etc.)
- Critical Path Method (CPM) and Margin/Float management
- Must be an independent thinker capable of working proficiently independently as well as within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using tools like Microsoft Project Web App (PWA) connected to MS Project Online, Structured Solutions Inc. (SSI) Tools for Microsoft Project, and Monte Carlo Analysis tools.
- Advanced Excel skill set including Power BI, pivot tables, macros, lookup tables
- Experience with EVM/EVM Lite.
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Scheduling Professional (SP) certification

Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
