NTAM is seeking a Senior Marketing Strategist to lead EMEA Client Marketing for the Institutional segment.
Reporting to the Head of Client Marketing, this role will set the strategic direction for institutional channel marketing across EMEA and lead the development and execution of integrated marketing programs that strengthen NTAM’s brand, deepen client engagement, and support commercial growth across key institutional audiences.
This role serves as the Senior Business Partner for the Institutional segment across EMEA, leading the regional client and channel marketing strategy and execution in close partnership with sales, product, and investments teams.
The Sr. Marketing Strategist will also be responsible for shaping commercially focused marketing agenda that aligns with business priorities, reflects regional market dynamics, and supports awareness, engagement, and asset growth across institutional audiences.
The role requires a strategic leader with strong people management capability, commercial acumen, and deep experience translating client and market insight into measurable marketing outcomes.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Leading EMEA client and channel marketing for the Institutional segment, setting strategic direction and ensuring alignment to regional business priorities, sales objectives, and NTAM brand standards.
- Developing and executing integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of NTAM’s institutional investment capabilities across target client segments and markets in EMEA.
- Serving as a senior strategic partner to institutional sales leadership and other key stakeholders, proactively identifying business needs and translating them into actionable marketing plans.
- Overseeing the development of channel-specific messaging, campaigns, and marketing materials that reflect client needs, market conditions, and competitive dynamics across the institutional landscape.
- Partnering closely with product, investment, and communications teams to deliver content, campaign assets, and sales enablement materials that support commercial objectives and client conversations.
- Leading regional planning and prioritization for marketing initiatives, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and programs are delivered with strong cross-functional coordination and governance.
- Establishing and monitoring KPIs for campaigns and initiatives, present performance insights to senior management, and continuously optimize marketing effectiveness based on data and feedback.
- Managing and developing a high-performing team, providing leadership, coaching, and clear direction while fostering collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Maintaining strong awareness of institutional client trends, competitor activity, regulatory considerations, and market developments across EMEA to inform strategy and messaging.
- Contributing to the annual client marketing planning process and help shape longer-term strategic priorities for the broader client marketing function.
The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following experience, qualifications & skills:
- Proven experience in asset management or institutional financial services marketing, with demonstrated success leading channel or client marketing strategy for complex, matrixed organizations.
- Deep understanding of the institutional investor landscape in EMEA, including client needs, sales dynamics, and the competitive environment across relevant channels and markets.
- Proven ability to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that support commercial growth and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Strong leadership experience, including managing and developing teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving alignment across cross-functional groups.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to shape compelling messaging for sophisticated institutional audiences.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with experience using performance data and market insight to refine campaigns and improve effectiveness.
- Experience operating within regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to financial services marketing.
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, communications, business, or a related field; advanced degree or industry certification preferred.
