Ingram Micro is looking for a Marketing Specialist whose primary role will be to help and assist the Marketing Manager in devising and implementing vendor and Ingram Micro BU’s marketing plans, particularly the cybersecurity business unit. The person will also be responsible for launching PR & communication activities, ensuring the success of activities planned and executed, presenting the results and analysis, and assisting in all corporate activities ensuring brand representation and funding.

 

Responsibilities, Supporting Actions & End-Results

 

What will you do?

  • Support in planning and execution of events, trade shows, digital campaigns, promotions, and other marketing activities, including ROI management and reporting;
  • Suppliers & agencies negotiation & management;
  • Preparing creative briefs to send to agencies;
  • Securing internal approvals and payments approval for marketing activities;
  • Manage activity claims, proof of execution submission to vendors, and payments follow up;
  • Lead digital marketing activities, compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts;
  • Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases, proposals, presentations);
  • Support writing of corporate announcements and press releases;
  • Monthly marketing reports and vendor claim books update;
  • Support internal marketing activities (quarterly newsletters & incentives programs);
  • Responsible for coordinating with Design Team and supporting all design-related projects, from creating a designer's brief/concept to controlling and reviewing the design submissions and completion;

Supporting Actions:

  • Supporting the Marketing Manager/Senior Marketing Specialist in conducting vendor interactions
  • Manage administrative tasks related to marketing procurement;
  • Making sure activities are well planned and completed on time;
  • Digital marketing skills;
  • Negotiation skills to manage and optimize suppliers performance;
  • Events & trade shows management skills;
  • Prepare budgets, reports and manage finance function;
  • Help in planning & execution of marketing activities for vendors;
  • Having an understanding of design research and the creative process;
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English.

 

Decision Making Authority Level

Explain the decisions that depend on position’s advice:

  • Sending proposals to vendors, follow up;
  • Claiming & payment follow up from vendors;
  • Internal marketing performance reports

Scope/Dimensions

  • The activities report, proof of the execution, and claim to vendor shall be done within 5 working days after the activity completion;
  • The internal documentation for any approved activity needs to be completed within the same day;

 

Which Talent do you bring?

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in a marketing position with an international company;
  • Should have ability to prioritize, multi-task & meet strict deadlines;
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills;
  • A fluent command of spoken & written English is a must;
  • Good knowledge of excel & power point, Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus;
  • Understanding of Branding and Design guidelines;
  • Experience in content creation, press releases, writing social media posts & promoting content on social media;
  • Experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads;
  • Eloqua/Oracle automation tool or any other mailing tool is an advantage.
