As a nationally recognized architecture, engineering, and planning firm, we are seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator to support our marketing efforts within the Education, Science + Technology, and Arts markets. If you're a creative, results-driven marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!

This individual will own the end-to-end process of producing market-specific collateral and developing HGA stories to inspire action. From brainstorming ideas and writing content to coordinating and producing proposals and award submittals, we’re looking for someone who can help position HGA for priority clients and pursuits across the Education, Science + Technology, and Arts markets.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end project pursuit process—project management, content development, and document production for marketing collateral supporting client prepositioning and pursuits, including RFQ/P responses and interviews that integrate creative storytelling and visual delivery.
  • Collaborate with Education, Science + Technology, and Arts practice group leaders, principals, and business developers to implement messaging strategy, define narrative approaches, and write and proofread marketing content.
  • Design and develop collateral to support other market visibility initiatives, including project award submissions, conferences, events, and speaking engagements.
  • Lead photoshoot coordination for select projects, including planning, scheduling, consultant and project team coordination, and onsite support during shoot days.
  • Work in a highly interactive, cross-functional role, collaborating with and cultivating positive relationships among team members across various teams and offices.
  • Collaborate across the Sector Marketing, Brand, and Communications teams to execute strategic initiatives and champion marketing projects as appropriate.
  • Take initiative with a solution-focused mindset, with the ability to work through ambiguity and pivot when priorities or circumstances change.

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Arts, Architecture (or other related field), or an equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and professional experience. (Demonstrated relevant marketing experience is more important than a specific field of study.)
  • 5+ years minimum of professional marketing experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry or commercial real estate industry, including content writing, creating original documents and graphics in Adobe InDesign, and managing concurrent projects from beginning to end.
  • Experience managing and producing RFQ/P responses in collaboration with leadership, internal partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and working proficiency with other Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Workfront, Canva, and/or VantagePoint is a plus.
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills, with the ability to refine narrative text for grammar, spelling, clarity, consistency, tone, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Strong graphic design and image curation sensibilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting the development of team members.
