Position Summary
Manage the development, project management, ethical execution and communication of primary and secondary market intelligence research, competitive intelligence, and local regulatory environment insights in support of Medicaid growth. Works collaboratively with a dedicated team, which has local oversight and direction, to pursue State business and engage with critical stakeholders within a state including but not limited to community-based organizations, legislative and regulatory staff, and potential provider partners. Develop regular and structured research reports including both detailed findings and strategic implications and present those reports to Development Leadership. Also conducts local, tactical and Ad Hoc research such as group profiles, demographic research or competitive product inventories to support Development Engagements, Product Development and Health Equity projects across the Department. Works closely with Analytics staff to evaluate performance metrics for both Aetna performance and relative competitive positioning. Other duties potentially include detailed assessment of publicly available competitor bids, supporting Conference Planning and Intelligence, evaluating market developments and patterns through investigation of materials including detailed financial analysis of statutory disclosures, support of Medicaid Pipeline reporting, mutual support to peers when a significant number of bids arrive, and others. Additional duties as required. Manage and oversee deliverables and quality assurance on all outputs.
Required qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of experience that includes Competitor Intelligence, Market Intelligence or Market Research
- 2 to 4 years of experience that includes strategic planning or strategic planning support
- Must not be prohibited from working on government business at either a Federal or State level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Managed Medicaid
- Experience in responding to, or evaluating, state government bidding
- Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Education
Bachelor's degree required, degree in Marketing, Business or Social Sciences are a plus. CIP Certification a plus.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 - $199,144.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
