We also manage an e-commerce storefront and content platform. We take great pride and ownership in the products we build and in the community of parents and kids we serve. Our office is located in Mountain View, within walking distance to the Caltrain station. Currently, we work a hybrid schedule of Tuesday and Wednesday in-office and remote work the rest of the week.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with the Head of Wholesale to build long-term and short-term strategic plans to grow the wholesale channel.
  • Maintain relationships with wholesale partners and deliver diligent communication, relationship-building, and selling to current and new partners.
  • Partner with third parties (brokers, merchandising agencies, etc.) to develop new retail partnerships and ensure goals are met.
  • Partner with Product Design, Creative, and Supply Chain on the wholesale new product development process from product ideation, merchandising pitches to retailers, and cost negotiations.
  • Partner with Operations and Accounting to ensure that on-time delivery and invoicing.
  • Maintain expertise of retail landscape and macro trends and bring an understanding of industry and retailer awareness for how to best navigate the relationship for mutually beneficial growth.
  • Own demand planning and inventory management to support wholesale needs
  • Report out on sales, while working with Marketing on plans to maximize wholesale sales, profitability, and brand penetration.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of wholesale experience
  • Strength in project management and detail orientation is essential with fluency in project management tools such as Airtable
  • Track record of strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks at one time through excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to think and react in a fluid, fast-paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial and growth mindset
  • Innovator at heart with strong resourcefulness
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
