The Senior Manager, V-BAT Internal Training Program leads the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of V-BAT training and standardization across the organization. This role operates at the intersection of training, operations, engineering, and product, managing training as a scalable, data-driven program.
Acting with a Technical Program Manager (TPM) mindset, this leader is responsible for aligning cross-functional stakeholders, integrating system and product changes into training pipelines, and ensuring training outcomes are measurable, repeatable, and operationally relevant. The role also partners closely with flight operations to support safe and effective execution of training activities.
Required qualifications:
- Proven experience leading aviation training programs (military, commercial, or UAS)
- Strong program management experience in complex, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to operate with a Technical Program Manager (TPM) mindset, including planning, execution, risk management, and cross-functional alignment
- Deep understanding of training systems, standardization, curriculum development, and evaluation processes
- Experience translating technical system or product changes into training requirements and deliverables
- Experience in operational planning, scheduling, or coordinating training/operations activities
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with a focus on execution and accountability
Preferred qualifications:
- Background in military aviation, UAS operations, or similar operational environments
- Instructor Pilot (IP), Evaluator (EP), or equivalent instructional/evaluation designation
- Experience with Group 3–5 UAS or comparable advanced systems
- Experience in test and evaluation, operational units, or flight test organizations
- Familiarity with FAA Part 107, military aviation frameworks, or equivalent regulatory structures
- Experience building or scaling training programs in a high-growth, product-driven environment
- Experience partnering closely with engineering and product teams through development and release cycles
