Vimeo is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Manager, Talent Performance and Management to lead the transformation of our global performance management strategy. Reporting to the VP of Talent, you will play a key role in shaping how we assess, develop, and empower our employees worldwide. This role demands a deep understanding of performance management principles, a forward-thinking approach to technology integration, and a genuine commitment to fostering a culture of growth and development.
What you will do:
- Strategic Leadership & Program Enhancement:
- Spearhead the revision and enhancement of Vimeo's global performance management strategy, encompassing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including goal setting, continuous feedback mechanisms, performance evaluations, talent reviews, and succession planning.
- Ensure seamless alignment between performance management programs and broader talent management objectives, while considering Vimeo's future of work vision and evolving business needs.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of industry best practices and emerging trends in performance management to inform program design and implementation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and resources related to performance management processes and policies.
- Technology & Innovation:
- Collaborate closely with HR Operations and IT teams to optimize the use of existing HR systems and explore new technologies to streamline performance management processes.
- Evaluate and implement innovative solutions, including AI-powered tools, to automate tasks, gather data-driven insights, and enhance the employee experience.
- Champion the use of technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of performance management data.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Partner effectively with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), Employee Success partners, business leaders, and other key stakeholders to ensure performance programs are relevant, scalable, and support business priorities across different departments and regions.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and training sessions to gather feedback, address concerns, and promote alignment on performance management initiatives.
- Develop and deliver clear, concise, and engaging communications to employees at all levels regarding performance management programs, processes, and expectations.
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of performance management initiatives, track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
- Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate performance management data and trends to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Leverage data to identify areas for program optimization, address performance gaps, and recognize top performers.
- Change Management:
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of revised performance programs across the organization.
- Lead communication efforts, training programs, and resource development to support employee understanding, engagement, and adoption of new initiatives.
- Proactively address employee concerns and resistance to change through effective communication and support.
- Performance Improvement:
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance improvement plans, including identifying performance gaps, setting clear expectations, and monitoring progress.
- Develop and deliver training programs on performance management best practices, coaching techniques, and effective feedback delivery.
- Stay abreast of legal and regulatory requirements related to performance management to ensure compliance.

- Collaborate with Compensation and Benefits to ensure alignment between performance management outcomes and compensation decisions, including salary increases, bonuses, and promotions.
Skills you should possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources with a focus on performance management and talent management.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and improving performance management programs within a global organization.
- Strong understanding of performance management best practices, trends, and technologies, including AI and data analytics.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build consensus across different levels and functions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.
- Passion for fostering a culture of growth, development, and high performance.
Base Salary Range:
- NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $123,000 - $169500,000
- All other US cities outside above metro areas: $110,700 - $152,550
