As a Sr. Manager - Sustainable Technologies, you will apply your technical engineering expertise to develop and implement robust environmental policies and strategies aligned with Red Bull’s sustainability targets. This role requires a strong technical foundation to drive projects aimed at reducing our ecological footprint, improving life cycle assessment processes, and strategically addressing future sustainability challenges. You will leverage your engineering background to lead cross-functional teams in creating technically feasible solutions that support our global sustainability goals.

Job Description

TECHNICAL RESEARCH & ANALYSIS

You will conduct research on advanced sustainability technologies and environmental regulatory frameworks, focusing on their practical application to Red Bull’s operations. Your engineering expertise will help identify key technical opportunities and risks related to sustainability initiatives.

 

ENGINEERING STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT

This role requires you to develop and implement technical strategies that advance Red Bull’s sustainability agenda. You will apply engineering principles to ensure the feasibility of proposed solutions, considering both technical limitations and opportunities for innovation in sustainability practices.

 

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

You will work closely with internal teams across operations, management, and research to implement sustainability initiatives. Additionally, you will collaborate with external scientific and technical partners, applying your engineering knowledge to drive successful project outcomes and maintain technical rigor in sustainability efforts.

 

PROCESS ENGINEERING & OPTIMIZATION

Using your engineering expertise, you will optimize internal processes to ensure the effective implementation of sustainability initiatives. Your role will involve identifying process inefficiencies and engineering solutions to improve sustainability performance across the organization.

Qualifications

A degree in engineering, process engineering, or a related technical field is essential.

At least 10 years of relevant experience in engineering-driven sustainability, with a proven track record in developing and implementing technical solutions.

Fluent in English; German is an advantage.

Expertise in applying technical solutions and sustainability technologies to real-world operational challenges.

Proven ability to develop and implement engineering strategies that support sustainability goals with technically feasible solutions.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for improvement in sustainability practices.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.

Solution-oriented approach with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.

Additional Information

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.303,00 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
