Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Risk - Facilities

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Risk is responsible for leading the development and execution of risk management strategies to enhance supply chain resilience and business continuity. This role involves identifying vulnerabilities, implementing proactive risk mitigation plans and managing crisis response efforts. The Senior Manager collaborates with stakeholders, suppliers, and executive leadership to drive strategic risk management initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain risk management framework. Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments to identify and prioritize supply chain risks. Advise executive leadership on risk exposure, mitigation plans, and strategic resilience initiatives.
  • Locate and implement data-driven risk analysis tools using AI, predictive analytics, and scenario planning.  Monitor global supply chain trends, geopolitical risks, and supplier performance metrics. Establish and track risk dimensions to produce risk scores by supplier, product category and proactively identify risk.
  • Develop and execute supplier risk management programs, including alternate products and supplier diversification. Implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans to minimize operational disruptions. Collaborate with sourcing teams, vendor management, inventory planning, cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership to align risk strategies with business objectives.
  • Develop rapid-response protocols for supply chain disruptions (e.g., natural disasters, supplier failures, cyberattacks). Coordinate efforts with internal Emergency Management team during events. Document event management playbooks.
  • Partner with executive leadership, sourcing leaders, clinical leaders, biomed leaders and supply chain teams to align on risk strategies. Drive risk awareness to inform sourcing decisions and supplier engagement to enhance supply chain stability. Mentor and develop a team of risk analysts and managers to strengthen organizational risk capabilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ Years of relevant work experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience in manufacturing, healthcare or pharmaceutical industries preferred
  • Expertise in ERP systems (Oracle, Coupa, Supply Risk Solutions, Resilinc). preferred
  • Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies (FMEA, Monte Carlo simulations, SWOT analysis).required      
  • Proficiency in data analytics & risk modeling tools (Power BI, Python, Tableau) required

Salary/ Wage Range

$110,000.00 - $161,000.00 / year
