As the Senior Manager of the Internal Tools team, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth operation and support of key business processes critical to our customer lifecycle management. Your leadership will be essential as we aim to double our size over the next 3 years, managing a team responsible for customer internally developed tools that are designed to aid productivity for external and internal customers.

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage the internal tools team, who builds and runs custom developed customer support tools and other infrastructure platforms solutions
  • Help drive modernization our continuous deployment pipelines
  • Support customer lifecycle management operations, including new instance creation, data refreshes to sandbox, cloning for debugging purposes, and customer administration for all applications
  • Design, build and Run/Maintain highly available internally developed software that will increase customer productivity
  • Release planning, tracking and roadmap development for internally developed software applications
  • Strategically plan and execute the sunsetting of existing portfolio tools related to deployment and infrastructure orchestration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and optimize internal processes and tools
  • Develop and implement strategies to scale operations in alignment with the company's growth goals

What you will bring to Coupa:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • Proven experience, minimum of 5 years, in managing and leading software development teams, preferably in a tooling or infrastructure role
  • Deep understanding of cloud development and infrastructure as code
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages like Ruby on Rails, Python, and GoLang
  • Knowledge of Capistrano would be a plus
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Other duties as assigned:
  • - 24x7 on call support for related major incidents

The estimated pay range for this role is as follows:

•Based in California: $205,700 - 242,000

•Based in Colorado: $183,600 - 216,000

•Based in New Jersey: $205,700 - 242,000

•Based in New York: $205,700 - 242,000

•Based in Washington: $195,075 - 229,500

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
