Location - We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, ME, MA, NJ, NC, OR, TX, or VA. Preference/Priority will be given to candidates based in Austin, TX or those willing to relocate unassisted.
What You'll be Doing

  • Lead Video SEO Strategy and optimization, ensuring visibility across search engines and video platforms. Respond to algorithm changes and optimize large-scale video content. Develop and integrate video SEO strategies that align with broader SEO goals, including keyword research tailored to video content.
  • Oversee the optimization of video metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, Schema.org markup), as well as optimizing video content for search engines and platforms like YouTube and Vimeo, focusing on structure, on-page elements, and metadata.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize hundreds or thousands of video pages, ensuring they are effectively optimized for both search engines and video platforms.
  • Analyze organic search data to identify growth opportunities. Leverage SEO tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console to refine strategies and measure performance.
  • Contribute new ideas to improve conversion rates from organic search traffic by integrating Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) within SEO strategies, focusing on creating helpful, high-value content that supports broader marketing goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of SEO professionals. Foster collaboration and encourage professional development in a high-performance environment.
  • Work cross-functionally with Web, Product Marketing, Digital Experience, Paid Search, Data, Comms, and Content teams to integrate SEO strategies and align them with broader marketing objectives.
  • Regularly audit SEO performance, particularly for video content, site architecture, and on-page elements. Provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay ahead of SEO trends, proactively testing new strategies to improve organic search performance and enhance user experience.
  • Other duties as needed.


About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of SEO experience, specializing in Video SEO, with a proven track record in optimizing video metadata, using structured data, and boosting visibility on platforms like YouTube and Vimeo.
  • Expert in SEO audits, with a deep understanding of the full marketing funnel and experience optimizing SEO at every stage to drive organic traffic and conversions. You excel at audits at both the page and path levels to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Skilled in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), with the ability to optimize landing pages, user flows, and calls to action, improving conversion rates from organic traffic.
  • Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush (BrightEdge, Ahrefs, or similar), utilizing these tools to refine strategies and track performance.
  • Experienced people leader, capable of mentoring and motivating teams to foster collaboration and innovation, while aligning SEO goals with business objectives.
  • With expertise in data engineering and analysis, and advanced skills in SQL and Python, you excel at extracting actionable insights that drive impactful SEO optimizations and measurable growth.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to solving SEO challenges and leveraging strong problem-solving skills to drive continuous improvements.
  • You've spent years honing your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, consistently coaching and refining messaging for SEO optimization that aligns with brand guidelines and maximizes visibility across all platforms.
  • Adaptable and forward-thinking, staying ahead of SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies to keep strategies competitive and effective.
  • Bonus: Recent expertise in YouTube and TikTok search algorithms and optimizing content visibility.

This position is NOT eligible for Visa sponsorship.
*Due to operational policies, NinjaOne is unable to hire for this role within the city limits of Chicago. We will consider all qualified candidates who reside outside of the city proper or are willing to self-relocate.
Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to location, market demands, experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage and PTO. For roles based in California or Colorado, the base salary hiring range for this position is $120,000 to $155,000 per year.
