Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to manage multiple Business Process Teams within our large-scale SAP program for a federal client. With a deep understanding of SAP Financials with US Federal Funds Management, SAP SRM Procurement for Public Sector (PPS) and SAP CRM, the candidate will oversee various functional areas, ensure alignment across teams, and drive the successful implementation of SAP solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple SAP Business Process Teams, each focused on different functional areas (Procurement, Finance, CRM/Order Fulfillment) within the SAP ecosystem.
- Develop and execute strategies to ensure seamless integration and alignment across all business process teams and with the overall SAP program objectives.
- Provide oversight where the new requirements are reviewed for functionality, accuracy and quality by solution review staff and the customer to ensure all changes meet the program requirements.
- Oversee the design, configuration, and test of SAP modules to support business processes and functional requirements across multiple federal SAP modules and functions
- Collaborate with peers, federal client executives and key stakeholders to align business process improvements with organizational goals and SAP best practices.
- Coordinate with technical teams (e.g., ABAP, Basis, Technical Architecture) to ensure that system design and functionality align with client needs. • Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and capacity planning across all business process teams.
- Establish and maintain governance structures, methodologies, and standards for business process management within the SAP program.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to business process changes and their impact on the overall SAP implementation. • Report on the progress, challenges, and successes of business process activities to senior leadership and steering committees.
- Stay updated with SAP innovations, best practices, and new functionalities, particularly related to SAP S/4HANA and public sector requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, or a related field. • Experience within the federal government preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in experience leading teams of SAP functional experts in developing solutions with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing multiple teams. This includes guiding the team in assessing project and release needs, making assignments, and coordinating the project and O&M activities.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex SAP implementation projects. Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations is a significant plus.
- Ideally, 2-4 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, including understanding its architecture, modules, and best practices.
- 3+ years of experience supporting federal procurement and federal financials business processes and functionalities.
- Ability to manage and motivate diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across various functions such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Warehousing and Distribution
- Deep understanding of industry-specific processes and how they map to SAP S/4HANA functionalities.
- Integration Knowledge: Understanding of how S/4HANA integrates with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
- SAP certifications in relevant modules (e.g., SAP CRM, SAP Financials, SAP Procurement, SAP S/4HANA) are desirable.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$95,500-$210,100
