About the Role

The HARMAN Professional Solutions SBU is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Leader to lead our sales efforts in Korea. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to drive revenue growth, expand our customer base, and strengthen our market position. In addition, the incumbent will be the key contact between HARMAN Professional Solutions & Senior Leaders of Samsung.

This role reports to VP & GM Professional Solutions, APAC & India. This is an independent contributor role, working with various regional stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Drive sales and margin growth in South Korea together with APAC leaders and appointed channel partners to achieve aggressive business, revenue objectives.
  • Manage all sales channels in Korea, identifying and implementing growth initiatives and oversee the implementation of HARMAN’s products and solutions into existing and new channel partners.
  • Understanding of key customer segments in Korea for Pro business and identifying channel and product opportunities to drive incremental growth and develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base in Korea.
  • Deep understanding of local culture to interface and manage distribution partners in Korea for setting annual targets, account management, pricing support in conjunction with regional support teams.
  • Collaborate with regional and global cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer support, to align sales strategies and drive business outcomes.
  • Serve as the Korea’s HARMAN Point of Contact for the Professional SBU Division with Samsung Korea Leadership and provide synergy with the aim of streamlining communications and prioritize sales activities between HARMAN Korea & Samsung.  Represent HARMAN Korea in any liaison with Samsung Korea.
  • Engage with Samsung and other large Integrators in Korea to understand project pipeline and co-ordinate a winning strategy with regional teams and distributors.
  • Participate in client interactions to ensure that the APAC teams provide cross trainings, ensure customer satisfaction and management of product issues periodically
  • Market Analysis and Intelligence: Conduct market research and analysis in Korea to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop strategies to address them.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales management with a proven track record of growing sales revenue.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, including ability to communicate effectively in both Korean and English
  • Good understanding of Samsung working culture
  • Prior experience from the audio, video, lighting and control solutions business is a plus.
  • Outgoing personality and strong in creating and managing customer relationships
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced/high-pressure environment, while always maintaining good customer relations.
  • Ability to demonstrate assertiveness and have a professional approach.
  • Excellent time management skills.
