Position Summary
The consumer, legislative, and regulatory environment surrounding ingredients has been evolving rapidly, and our new Portfolio Evolution team will h elp us navigate this changing landscape. This cross-functional team will assess our current portfolio and define the strategy and resources required across the Zone to deliver a full portfolio evolution. The Sr. Manager, Quality for this team will lead all aspects of brand quality of portfolio evolution across the Kraft Heinz portfolio.
• Lead quality starting across our brands in Portfolio Evolution (including Heinz, Kraft & beyond)
Support brand strategy on ingredient renovations.
Collaborate on a cross-functional team to commercialize new renovated items (marketing, procurement, operations with factory & capital implications, R&D on product/pack development, PMO on project timelines, Insights/Sensory on consumer testing, etc.)
Monitor consumer sentiment with marketing partners as it relates to ingredient evolution and help build cohesive claims strategy with regulatory.
Support future ingredient quality strategy on what ingredient choices we should be evolving across our portfolio with now/near/next strategy.
Liaison with regulatory and government affairs teams to be closely connected with state and federal laws and regulations that could impact future strategy

Simplifier: Strong ability to simplify complex challenges. Ability to distill information to tell a clear story to drive clarity though the organization.
Commercialization Leader: demonstrated strong project leadership skills with clear knowledge of the commercialization process and ability to mobilize the cross-functional team
Quality-in-Design - QiD acumen with understanding the degree to which the product design meets its intended purpose and user expectations, incorporating factors like functionality, aesthetics, and user experience.
Collaborator: Team player and culture creator who works well in a fast-paced environment
Flexible: Be adaptable and adjust to evolving consumer, legislative and regulatory environment
Qualifications
• Master of Science degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in quality or R&D preferred
• 2+ years of commercialization experience at Kraft Heinz or CPG food industry
• Experience with quality systems/processes (ISO, Six Sigma etc.)
• Excellent communication skills (presentation, report writing, teaching/training).
• Strong collaborator, who can lead complex cross-functional workstreams
• Resilient in ambiguous and rapidly evolving environments
• Self-starter, who operates independently
• Strategic, big picture thinker who can also execute with excellence
• Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving decisions via strong, data-led stories
• Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
• Excellent organization and project management skills
• Travel requirements up to 20% a year.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$118,400.00 - $148,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
