Sr. Manager, Quality Control

We are seeking a dynamic Leader of Quality to spearhead the development and execution of our global quality strategy across supplier operations, new product introductions (NPI), and sustained manufacturing.

• Architect and execute the end-to-end quality strategy from development through end of life.

• Establish scalable, process-driven quality systems aligned with business growth and product complexity.

• Build and lead a high-performing regional quality team across key manufacturing locations in Asia.

• Define and implement supplier quality standards, scorecards, and audit processes.

• Partner with sourcing and engineering teams to qualify and develop new suppliers.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with strategic suppliers to improve yield, reduce defects, and enhance reliability.

• Own the quality readiness plan from prototype through mass production.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure quality is embedded from the design phase.

• Drive DFx (Design for Manufacturability, Testability, Reliability) practices and validate supplier PPAP/FMEA/CPs during NPI builds.

• Monitor and drive performance improvement across CM and ODM partners using KPIs (e.g., first-pass yield, RMA rates, process CpK).

• Root cause and implement corrective actions for field issues and factory quality escapes. Implement quality systems including CAPA, SPC, traceability, and audits to meet internal and regulatory standards.

• Recruit, train, and mentor regional quality engineers and managers to create a resilient quality organization.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical discipline.

• 10+ years of experience in quality leadership roles, ideally within consumer electronics, electric vehicles, or micro mobility sectors.

• Demonstrated success scaling quality teams and processes across Asia.

• Deep expertise in supplier development, NPI processes, and mass manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant quality systems.

• Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus.

The salary for this position ranges from $220,000 to $295,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
