Ameresco’s Federal & Utility Team has a new opportunity for a procurement expediter manager to join our Federal & Utility Solutions Team.
Responsibilities:

Oversee the procurement and delivery to project site of material and engineered equipment for projects within the Federal and Utility business.

Collaboratively review scopes of supply developed with engineering oversight

Provide tracking and expediting from day of order, through purchase order milestones, shipping and onsite delivery;

Develop strategy for warranty and extended warranty plans;

Create and maintain project procurement plans, and assuring proper execution by supply chain throughout the entire project (initial estimates, orders and ongoing deliverables);

Support Internal team with equipment performance issues in regard to contract terms;

Build high-performing relationships with internal colleagues in corporate procurement group, development, engineering, construction, and operations and maintenance; and

Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Minimum 10 years management experience in purchasing and/or procurement.

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field or equivalent experience.
Additional Qualifications:
-
Experience and proficiency of all areas of procurement, common terms and conditions, including procurement execution, estimating, and expediting and is desirable.

Energy industry experience is preferred.

Understanding of the influence of market conditions on supply chain.
-
Demonstrated ability to improve supply times.

Excellent oral, written, computer communication and presentation skills required.

Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing.
