Sr Manager of Project ManagementThe Sr. Manager of Project Management is responsible to lead a team of engineering project managers to plan, implement, manage and successfully complete the company’s major capital projects as assigned by the Director of Project Management. This position will interface with developers, architects, general contractors, engineering firms, permitting jurisdictions and are responsible to directly manage and supervise Niagara’s chosen contractors.
Job Description
Essential Functions
- Reports directly to the Director of Project Management
- Has regular interdepartmental communication and interaction with key internal stakeholders
- Responsible for planning and supporting the work of multiple project managers across multiple projects, functions, and project phases
- Work with Director of Project Management to develop budget, scope, and schedules for capital projects
- Makes high level recommendations and/or decisions with limited oversight
- Provides input to the project design and strong communication, handoff, and consulting support throughout the project
- Actively monitors project schedules and suggests the necessary changes to stay on track
- Ensures projects are implemented in accordance Niagara’s policies and procedures including but not limited to safety, good manufacturing practices (GMP’s), quality and generally accepted construction and equipment installation methods
- Manages program wide initiatives for our team such as BodyArmor
- Collaborates internal to the team as well as external to make sure there is one voice
- Makes sure nothing gets missed in scheduling, planning, parts, internal and external stakeholders
- Leads project management continuous improvement efforts and communication of best practices
- Develops CI improvement efforts for the team in terms of design, documentation, and collaboration.
- Takes CI issues from problem to solution
- Identifies gaps and helps solve them
- Identifies improvement for new OEM’s and finds options in the industry.

- Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 Years – Experience in Construction & Equipment Installation field
- 6 Years – Experience in Position, Food Or Plastics Manufacturing
- 6 Years – Experience in Supervisory Capacity
