As a Senior Manager, Project Manager on the Card Acquisitions Well Managed team, you will drive the strategy for and execute on high priority projects that ensure credit card applications are processed according to customer, business, and regulatory requirements. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. You will take on important and exciting responsibility from day one, working with key stakeholders across the company. General Responsibilities:

• Assess risks within the Card Acquisitions Service and define improvement projects to mitigate the highest priority risks
• Prioritize a portfolio of projects taking into account risk level, resource availability, and effort
• Plan and develop a delivery roadmap for the prioritized portfolio of projects
• Collaborate with leaders on teams needed for project delivery to ensure resource alignment. Other teams include business analysis, product management, data analysis, risk management, and operations.
• Manage a team of project managers to deliver on a portfolio of projects
• Provide effective team project portfolio status reporting to all stakeholders
• Ensure projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time
• Display a passion for coaching and developing a team of associates to improve their own risk analysis and project management skills

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or military experience
• At least 5 years of Project Management, Process Management, or Risk Management experience
• At least 1 year of people management experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's Degree or MBA
• 6+ years of Project Management, Process Management, or Risk Management experience
• 2+ years of people management experience
• Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management Professional certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $170,800 - $194,900 for Sr Manager, Project Management
Richmond, VA: $155,300 - $177,200 for Sr Manager, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
