Job Description SummaryThe Program Planning & Scheduling (PPS) Pillar Leader is a key member of the Edison Works team, responsible for leadership of the Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) team in support of development programs within the Program Management Office (PMO). The PMO supports a wide range of business management and project management functions. Specifically, this role leads the PPS/IMS team for all Edison Works programs. As a leader of leaders, you will guide and develop a team of first-level people leaders and their scheduling teams — managing the assignment of scheduling professionals to development programs, establishing standard work that delivers productivity and ensures compliance with customer requirements, and growing the development of team members so we sustain a healthy cadre of scheduling professionals ready to meet business needs. As the pillar evolves, you may also help stand up new planning and scheduling teams in adjacent areas — for example, Line of Balance (LoB) / Hardware Management System (HMS) and Agile daily management — as illustrative of how this role can expand with business needs. Further, you will set and manage the vision and mission for program planning and scheduling support throughout GE Aerospace.

• People leader for multiple team members with a wide range of experience levels
• Actively participate in defense industry integrated master scheduling forums, anticipate new trends, and work with business leadership to propose and lead implementation of improvements that support business objectives
• Strategic workforce planning for the PPS/IMS Pillar
• Customer interface with USG customers
• Prepare and support proposals for the IMS-required contracts
• Program Management Office - strategic direction for a growing number of programs and projects
• Earned Value Management (EVM) Control Board member
• Ensure compliance with EVMS Business System and IMS standard requirements
• Team accountability for timeliness, quality, availability, yield
• Lead lean transformation efforts to eliminate waste, improve transparency, establish standard work, and enhance the value the team brings to the business

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Program Management or related program/project management fields (for example, Systems Engineering, Finance, Sourcing, or Contracts).
• The ability to obtain a US Government Clearance.
